But how do you go about doing it when there are hundreds of users and thousands of communications to sort through and organize? Find the first message in any Telegram conversation or channel using this easy, simple, and super-quick method that you can use at any time.

Please ensure that you have the most recent version of the Telegram app installed before continuing.

Find the initial message in Telegram chat by following these steps.

Suppose you accidentally stumble into an active Telegram channel with hundreds or perhaps thousands of messages in it.

As a new member, you don’t want to interrupt the ongoing discussion, so you opted to scroll up to the first message and start reading from there.

Following the procedures listed below will ensure that you remain in the channel at all times:

• At the top right of the window, click on the three vertical dots menu.
• Select Search from the drop-down list.
• Upon clicking it, a new search window will be displayed.
• People will typically search for a term on Telegram, and the search result in the chat window will direct them to the result.
• To get to the first result, clicking the up or down arrows will not be practical if there are too many messages.

Rather than typing in a search term, you will click on the Calendar symbol at the bottom right of your screen when you select Search from the search window.

You can examine the monthly view calendar of the event in that particular discussion by clicking on the Calendar button (see below).

After scrolling to the top and clicking on the first date you come across, you will be sent to the first message in the chat.
